As you may know, Dragonflight Alpha has gone live some time ago and we are finally learning more about the new World of Warcraft expansion! Players have been very curious about class balance changes, especially for PvP. Now that we have a full list, let’s check what is new!

Raise Ally: Purs dark energy into a dead target, reuniting spirit and body to allow the target to reenter battle with 60% health and at least 20% mana.

  • Incarnation: Guardian of Ursoc: An improved Bear Form that grants the benefits of Berserk, causes Mangle to hit up to 3 targets and increases maximum health by 30%. Lasts 30 sec. You may freely shapeshift in and out of this improved Bear Form for its duration.

  • New Mark of the Wild: Infuse a friendly target with the power of the wild, increasing their speed and critical strike chance by 3% and reducing their magic damage taken by 2% for 60 minutes. If the target is in your party or raid, all party and raid members will be affected.
  • Rebirth: Returns the spirit to the body, restoring a dead target to life with 60% 100% health and at least 20% mana. Castable in combat.

  • After the Wildfire: Every 200 Rage you spend causes a burst of restorative energy, healing allies within 8 yds for (100% of Attack Power).
  • New Berserk: Frenzy: Go Berserk for 20 sec, causing your combo point-generating abilities to bleed the target for an additional 150% of their damage over 8 sec.
    • Combines with other Berserk abilities, granting all known Berserk effects while active.
    • Passive: Combo-point generating abilities reduce the cooldown of Berserk by 0.3 sec.
  • New Berserk: Jungle Stalker: Go Berserk for 20 sec, causing Rake and Shred to deal damage as though you were stealthed, and allowing the use of Prowl once while in combat.
    • Combines with other Berserk abilities, granting all known Berserk effects while active.
  • Dream of Cenarius: When you take non-periodic damage, you have a chance equal to your critical strike to cause your next Regrowth to be instant, free, and castable in all forms. Cannot occur more than once every 20 sec.
  • Elune’s Favored: While in Bear Form, you deal 30% increased Nature and Arcane damage, and are healed for 30% of all Nature and Arcane damage done.
  • Fury of Nature: While in Bear Form, you deal 10% increased Nature and Arcane damage.
  • Innate Resolve: Regrowth and Frenzied Regeneration healing is increased by 20.0% on yourself. Frenzied regeneration has 1 additional charge.

  • New Layered Mane: Ironfur has a 10.0% chance to apply two stacks and Frenzied Regeneration has a 10% chance of not consuming a charge.

dragonflight alpha Evoker changes

General

Spells
  • Blessing of the Bronze: Weave the threads of time, reducing the cooldown of the a major movement ability for all party and raid members by 15% for 1 hour.
  • Hover: Launch yourself and gain 30% increased movement speed for 6 sec. Allows Evoker spells to be cast while moving. Does not affect empowered spells.

  • Combustion: Engulfs you in flames for 10 sec, increasing your spells’ critical strike chance by 100%. and granting you Mastery equal to 50% of your Critical Strike stat. Castable while casting other spells.

  • Chain Lightning: Chain Lightning jumps to 2 additional targets.

  • Cleanse Spirit: Removes all Curse effects from a friendly target.

  • Earth Shock: Instantly shocks the target with concussive force, causing (273% of Spell power) Nature damage.

  • Earthquake: Causes the earth within 8 yards of the target location to tremble and break, dealing [Spell power * 0.391 * 6 / 1 * (1 + Versatility) * 1.05 * 1] Physical damage over 6 sec and has Tumultuous Fissures, 7.5, 5% chance to knock the enemy down.
    • Now available to all specs. Category changed from Specialization to talents.
  • Elemental Fury: Your damaging Elemental (Level 52) and healing critical critical strikes deal 250% damage Elemental (Level 52) or healing instead instead the usual 200%.

  • Elemental Fury: Elemental Fury now also causes your healing critical strikes to heal for 250% instead of the normal 200%.

  • Lava Burst: Hurl molten lava at the target, dealing (97.2% of Spell Power) Fire damage Elemental, Restoration ( Level 20) Lava damage. Lava Burst will always critically strike if the target is affected by Flame Shock. Elemental , Generates 10 Maelstrom.

  • Lava Surge:
    • Restoration – Your Flame Shock damage over time has a 15% chance to reset the remaining cooldown on Lava Burst and cause your next Lava Burst to be instant.
    • ElementalYour Flame Shock damage over time has a 10% chance to reset the remaining cooldown on Lava Burst and cause your next Lava Burst to be instant.

  • Mastery: Elemental Overload: Your Lightning Bolt, Elemental Blast, Icefury, Elemental Lava Burst, and Chain lightning casts have a 15.0% chance to trigger a second cast on the same target, dealing “Echo Chamber” 85% of normal damage and generating less maelstrom.
  • Spiritwalker’s Grace: Calls upon the guidance of the spirits for 15 sec, permitting movement while casting Shaman spells. Castable while casting.
    • Now available to all specs. Category changed from Specialization to Talents.
  • Thunderstorm: Calls down a bolt of lightning, dealing (10.4485% of Spell power) Nature damage to all enemies within 10 yards, reducing their movement speed by 40% for 5 sec, and knocking them away Thundershock – upward away from the Shaman. Usable while stunned.
    • Now available to all specs. Category changed from Specialization to Talents.
Talents
  • Earth Shield: Protects the target with an earthen shield, increasing your healing on them by 20% and healing them for [(36.5% of Spell power) * (1.2)] when they take damage. This heal can only occur once every few seconds. Maximum 9 charges.
    • Earth Elemental Orbit – Earth Shield can only be placed on the Shaman and one other target at a time. The Shaman can have up to two Elemental Shields active on them. Earth Shield can only be placed on one target at a time. Only one Elemental Shield can be active on the Shaman at a time.
    • Specializations changed from Elemental/Enhancement/Restoration to Elemental/Enhancement.
  • Liquid Magma Totem: Summons a totem at the target location that hurls liquid magma at a random nearby target every 1 sec, dealing [(15% of Spell power) * (1.05)] Fire damage to all enemies within 8 yards. After 6 sec or if the totem is destroyed, it erupts dealing (40% of Spell power) Fire damage and applying Flame Shock to 3 nearby enemies enemies within 8 yards. Continues hurling liquid magma at a random nearby target every 1 sec for 6 sec, dealing [(22% of Spell power) * (1.05)] Fire damage to all enemies within 8 yards.
  • Primal Elementalist: Your Earth, Fire, and Storm Elementals are drawn from primal elementals 80% more powerful than regular elementals, with additional abilities, and you gain direct control over them.
PvP Talents
  • Lightning Lasso: Grips the target in lightning, stunning and dealing (700% of Spell power) Nature damage over 5 sec while the target is lassoed. Can move while channeling.

Artifact Traits
  • Power of the Maelstrom: Casting Lava Burst has a 10% 5% chance to cause your next 2 Lightning Bolt or Chain Lightning casts to trigger Elemental Overload an additional time.

Hitting 2 or more targets enhances your weapons for 10 sec, causing Stormstrike and Lava Lash to also deal [(24% of Attack power) * [(Attack power * 0.98)][((Attack power + Offhand attack power) * 2 / 3)] — 2H, DW / Attack Power] Nature damage to all targets in front of you. Each target hit by Crash Lightning increases the damage of your next Stormstrike by 5%.

  • Feral Spirit: Summons two spirit raptors (Glyph of Spirit Raptors) / Wolves that aid you in the battle for 15 sec. They are immune to movement-impairing effects. Feral Spirit generates one stack of Maelstrom Weapon immediately, and one stack every 3 sec for 15 sec.
